The construction industry leaves a big footprint on the environment. It's hard to avoid completely, but we believe small efforts towards sustainability add up and help our planet.

At Weekend Plumber we are excited to be taking two new steps toward being greener. This year we are transitioning our fleet of work vans to be all electric vehicles. We are also thrilled to be a new member of 1% of the Planet. The organization started in 2002, when two businessmen met and bonded over their shared love for the outdoors. Realizing their responsibility to protect our planet, they decided to give 1% of their sales back to the environment—whether or not they were profitable. Now there are over 5,000 members doing the same and Weekend Plumber is one of them.
